Hi! I’m Madison Duguay — the owner and designer behind MJMDesigns. I was born in Alberta but raised in Saint John, NB, where my love for design quietly started taking shape. I grew up glued to HGTV, equal parts amazed (and occasionally a little judgy) at the renovation reveals. I was also the kid who rearranged her bedroom every week — sorry, Mom and Dad — but I never imagined interior design would become my career. I just knew I loved transforming spaces.

After high school, I originally planned to become an accountant, but life had other ideas. During a period of figuring out my next step, I discovered The Interior Design Institute and earned my Interior Design diploma in 2018. I wasn’t sure what came next, so I continued my education at Athabasca University, where I’m currently completing my Bachelor’s degree in Computing and Information Systems.

By day, I work full‑time as a data analyst. By night, you’ll find me studying, working on design projects, or diving into something new in the world of interiors.

Interior design has always been a true passion of mine, and nothing makes me happier than helping people fall in love with their homes.
